Salt Lake City—Total Building Commissioning, Inc. (TBC) has named Todd Rindlisbaker, P.E., QCxP, LEED™ AP, HBDP, CPD, as its vice president.
Mr. Rindlisbaker has been in the HVAC/plumbing and commissioning business for 16 years. He joined TBC in 2004 and has extensive experience in project management, HVAC design and energy studies. He specializes in hydronic heating and cooling systems, controls optimization for comfort and energy efficiency and in commissioning. He has been involved in the design, installation and commissioning of mechanical, plumbing and building management systems of more than 200 buildings throughout the Western and Midwestern United States and internationally...

The space is applying for Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED™) Platinum certification, the highest sustainable certification offered by the United States Green Building Council (USGBC), for the new headquarters.
TBC comprises a team of engineers and commissioning agents, including engineers with LEED™ expertise. TBC is dedicated to adding value to new and existing buildings by helping owners ensure their buildings function optimally and according to the design intent. Based in Salt Lake City and with more than 27 years experience in building management systems controls, commissioning and re-commissioning, TBC provides commissioning to a broad range of clients throughout the United States and around the world.

It's intent is to provide news and examples relating to building commissioning so that building owners/managers can gain knowledge about the value and practical side of our work. After all, what good is a service like commissioning if it ends once the building is complete.

ASHRAE’s certification program identifies individuals who have demonstrated they have the necessary training and tools for the design of high-performance buildings that live up to their performance capability.
