Project Description

University of Utah Health Care completed the new South Jordan Health Center at Daybreak in late fall 2011. The $52 million, 208,000-square-foot facility, located at the Daybreak community in South Jordan, Utah, will house primary and emergency health care services including outpatient examination rooms, a surgical center with four operating suites, a pharmacy, a 24-hour-a-day emergency room and an AirMed helicopter landing pad to allow for the transfer of patients to the University of Utah Medical Center. Additionally, the facility has achieved a LEED® Gold certification. The new South Jordan Health Center offers specialty care in the areas of cardiology, dermatology, gastroenterology, neurology, obstetrics and gynecology, oncology, optometry, orthopedics, physical therapy, psychiatry, and radiology, as well as being the first phase of a larger planned medical campus.
