Rio Tinto Distribution Center - The Rio Tinto Distribution Center is located on 35 acres in South Jordan, Utah and comprises 240,600 sq. ft. (approximately 225,000 sq. ft of warehouse and 15,600 sq. ft. of office space) in a building measuring 610 by 432 feet and reaching 40 feet high in the center. The office space supports approximately 70 employees. The storage capacity of the warehouse is 9 million cubic feet of volume. The building was designed to achieve and be awarded LEED® Silver certification. Energy use is expected to be 15 percent less than code.
