Commuters may select from a variety of transportation options including: Frontrunner heavy-gauge commuter rail, TRAX light rail, taxis, Amtrak and Greyhound and Utah Transportation Authority (UTA) buses.

Total Building Commissioning (TBC) was the commissioning authority on the Intermodal Hub project and provided quality process, operation and maintenance, design (review) and life cycle costing as well as electronic O&M materials. TBC performed prerequisite and credit 3 commissioning as it applies to the Energy and Atmosphere section of the LEED™ certification process for the owner/client Salt Lake City Corporation. The Intermodal Transportation Hub is LEED™ Certified.
