Total Building Commissioning
Originally only the HVAC systems in a building were commissioned. Now that systems have become more complex and interdependent, it has become increasingly important to commission all portions of a new structure. The total building commissioning process includes systems such as the mechanical and electrical systems as well as commonly overlooked systems such as audio visual, communications, security, building envelope and fire protection systems.
TBC uses the total building commissioning process to verify that all of the building systems are designed and functionally tested to deliver a user-friendly building that operates as an efficient, integrated system.
